Energy Figures

Can I use Energy Figures in ChatGPT or Claude?

Yes. Add the Energy Figures app and they answer from the same data as this site, with a card that links to the matching page here.

What you can ask

  • “What rebate do I get on a Tesla Powerwall 3 in NSW?”
  • “I was quoted $12,500 for a 13.5 kWh Powerwall 3 in 2250. Check it.”
  • “What do Sungrow SBR batteries sell for online?”
  • “Which battery has the lowest advertised price per kWh?”
  • “How many home batteries are installed in 2150?”
  • “Which Sigenergy batteries can get the rebate?”

What it can look up

The app reads Energy Figures data and never changes anything. The assistant picks what to look up from your question:

  • Find a battery: Searches the approved battery list by brand, model or size.
  • List batteries: Lists approved batteries or brands, filtered by brand, size or price.
  • Rebate: The federal battery rebate for a battery and size, plus NSW and WA schemes where they apply.
  • Advertised prices: Current prices for one battery from online shops and installer sites, lowest first.
  • Rank prices: The lowest advertised prices across every battery, by price or per kWh.
  • Installs by postcode: Batteries installed in a postcode since July 2025, from CER data.
  • Quote facts: For a price you were quoted: price per kWh, rebate, the lowest advertised price and local installs. Facts only, no opinion.

Each answer shows a card with the main figure and a link to the matching page on this site. Every answer carries the date of the data it used.

What it doesn’t do

  • It doesn’t save what you ask about
  • It covers Australia only
  • It doesn’t link to sellers or pass your details to anyone

Where the numbers come from

The same sources as the site, with dates: sources and definitions.

If something looks wrong

  • The assistant answers without Energy Figures. Start your question with “Using Energy Figures,” and check the connector is turned on for the chat.
  • It can’t find your battery. Try the brand and model as the approved list names them, or give the usable size in kWh. If several batteries match, you’ll be asked to choose one.
  • No advertised prices. Few sellers publish prices for some batteries, so there may be none to show yet. These are advertised prices, not quotes.
  • A rebate differs from your quote. The federal rebate shown is the most it can be, at the $40 clearing-house price. Installers often sell the certificates for less.
  • A place outside Australia. The app covers Australia only.
